Police Blotter: Woman charged with 33 counts of employee larceny
A Franklin woman was jailed on Saturday charged with stealing from an employer. A report filed by Franklin Police indicated the suspect, identified as 27-year-old Erica Annette Browning, was charged with 33 felony counts of larceny by employee. Browning was booked into the Macon County Detention Center on a $20,000 bond and is expected in court on September 19.
In an unrelated incident, a 43-year-old Franklin woman was charged after allegedly not returning a rental car. Franklin Police arrested the suspect, Tina Marie Hardin, on Thursday. She is charged with a felony count of failure to return a hired motor vehicle. Hardin’s bond was set at $3,000. An October 10 court date has been set.
Franklin Police arrested 55-year-old Charles Erin Gibson, of Franklin, on a felony count of meth possession. Officers reportedly seized a gram of meth from the suspect. Gibson was booked on a $2,000 bond and is due in court on September 19.
