Sports: Basketball rescheduled, FHS swimmer tops in the state

The Franklin Panther boy’s basketball team loses at the buzzer on Friday night at West Henderson. A final second shot lifted the Falcons over the Panthers 54-53.

The Lady Panthers took care of West Henderson as they dominate the Lady Falcons 74-31.

Franklin was scheduled to play Tuscola in the regular season finale on Tuesday, but due to impending winter weather, that game has been moved to this afternoon at the Panther Den.

It will be varsity only with the Lady Panthers tipping off at 4 p.m. The Senior Night activities that were planned for the game have been postponed until a later time.
