An evening of Scottish cuisine, music, and more is set to take place in Franklin this Saturday night.
The annual Robert Burns Night Supper begins at 5:00 p.m. at the Tartan Hall in Franklin. Dinner will be at 6 p.m.
The event is celebrated around the world and commemorates the late Scottish poet Robert Burns. “He had a reputation that puts him in the category of a modern-day rock star,” said David Blencoe of the Friends of the Scottish Tartans.
For ticket information call 524-7472, or visit the Scottish Tartans Museum.
“It’s all sort of a jolly occasion. Something to brighten up the winter months here in Franklin,” Blencoe said.
