The court case involving criminal complaints against a Macon County Detective has been continued.
Detective Amy Stewart appeared in court January 10 on the accusation of making threats on two separate occasions. According to the Clerk of Court office, the case has been continued until March 7.
Stewart was served with criminal summonses on January 6, and according to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office, an internal investigation is ongoing.
