Details have been announced on the annual Free Thanksgiving Dinner hosted by the First Presbyterian Church on 26 Church Street.
The dinner is scheduled for Thanksgiving Day, November 22, 2012, from 12:00-2:00 p.m. in the Tartan Hall, located behind the main sanctuary.
Volunteers from the community and other churches will team with First Presbyterian to offer the traditional dinner of turkey, dressing, and all the trimmings. Home baked desserts will also be served.
Take-out dinners for shut-ins are available, and limited transportation will also be provided. Anyone needing transportation or take-outs may call the Church office at 524-3119. Anyone wishing to volunteer may call the same number.
There is no charge for the dinner, though donations will be accepted, and no reservations for the sit-down dinner are need. Everyone in the community is invited to share in the fellowship and good food.
