Year-In-Review: Unforgettable season for Lady Panther basketball

2014 was a year to remember for the Franklin Lady Panther basketball team. Franklin advanced all the way to the Western Regional Championship at UNC-Greensboro. The Franklin girls ended up losing to Bandys in a hard-fought regional championship 71-65. The Lady Panthers finished the season with an incredible 24-4 record.

Two of the four people onboard a canoe that overturned on Nantahala Lake Friday afternoon have died.
