Two charged with growing pot

MCLECTwo Macon County residents were arrested by Sheriff’s Deputies on Monday charged with growing pot.

According to arrest reports filed by officers, 36-year-old Travis James Gregg and 25-year-old Casey Morris, both of Tessentee Road, were charged with felony counts of manufacturing marijuana.

The suspects were also charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Gregg and Morris were booked into the Detention Center each on $2,000 bonds and are due in court March 6.
