One week after being told their position was gone, employees at Franklin’s Whitley Plant are back on the job.
Macon County Economic Development Director Tommy Jenkins made the announcement Friday morning that the facility resumed operations as of Thursday evening, January 31.
Whitley Management has indicted full production is underway with two shifts at the plant as of Friday, February 1.
On Thursday, January 24, the plant shutdown sending around 110 employees home without a job.
