American Legion Post 108 to Host First Annual Bike Show

The American Legion Post 108 is getting ready for their first annual bike show, taking place this weekend.

Commander of the Post, Jim McGill says that the event will get started on Saturday Morning, “The set-up time is around 9 am. We also have quite a few venders who are coming in that will be dealing with motorcycle related issues and topics. We’ll have the show, which is $10 to enter a bike, and the public is welcome, we want everyone to come out and have a good time. We’ll also have a hot dog dinner afterwards. The judging will begin at around 11, and a prize will be given to the ‘people’s choice’ winner.”

McGill says that the proceeds of the event will go to the legion, “Right now, what we’re doing is continuing to fund and support our different programs, like our disaster shelter. We also have a bunch of youth programs that are coming up this year that we need to raise some funds for.”

The bike show will be taking place at the American Legion Post 108 in Franklin Saturday Morning.
